About Us – A brief Introduction 

The ever-growing challenges facing the security of information and risks with regard to efficient and secure e-mail and internet access in organisations led to the establishment of SeKure-IT. The company has focused on various aspects of the customer’s network infrastructure and, of late has also diversified into the provision of an economical, environmentally friendly and unique print management software for organisations guaranteed to save small, medium and large organisations sizeable expenditure on their printing consumables.

SeKure-IT is owned and managed by Markus Kluwe and Hilton Loewenstein, both having held senior positions at Siemens (telecommunications) for many years and having vast experience in customer focussed and customer-service focussed business activities, both in the general management of a direct sales environment as well as a channel model environment encompassing distribution and indirect sales. The customer and therefore also the end-user are the prime consideration in their daily activities.

E-mail and web traffic worldwide is growing at a phenomenal rate and, in conjunction with this, the amount of spam (junk mail) and viruses (Worms, Trojan horses etc.) is increasing at an even faster rate. This is resulting in huge IT security problems within organisations’ networks, increased bandwidth usage, a slowdown in the efficiency of the network, abuse by staff, escalating malicious or non-malicious attacks, all of which results in a company’s network being constantly under threat. It is therefore absolutely essential for companies to secure their network appropriately. SeKure-IT addresses the security aspects of E-mail and Web traffic as well as the optimisation, control and efficient monitoring and usage of organisations’ IT network infrastructure.

Printing consumables spending is typically a large , yet,  often overlooked, portion of a company’s  annual expenditure. Apart from the financial aspects of this fact, printing and the resulting consumption of paper and ink/toner has a large detrimental effect on the environment. In addition to the right product, a successful implementation is also dependent on ongoing service and support of the highest standard. SeKure-IT has selected PineApp, headquartered in Israel and the recipient of multiple awards for their technology, innovation and the price/performance for their Surf-Secure, Mail-Secure and SoHo Secure appliances as the supplier of choice for its data security appliances. Appliance-based solutions offer many benefits over those provided by a software-only and hosted methodology and offer ‘bullet-proof’ network security. The PineApp products are also featured on Gartner’s magic quadrant.

SeKure-IT is the Southern African distributor and integrator of PineApp LTD’s products and solutions and has successfully implemented solutions at many small, medium and large customers countrywide , both directly and via its expanding base of authorised resellers and partners. References are available both locally and from the large base of internationally installed solutions.

Preton Print Management Software Solutions 

An exciting and very new development for SeKure-IT is the recent appointment of the company as distributor of the unique, patent pending print management software from Preton Ltd. Essentially, implementation of Preton’s solutions in an organisation’s printing environment optimises,  manages, controls and reports on all printing activities for the company, utilising complicated algorithms to prevent wastage and unnecessary consumption of expensive and environmentally damaging inks, toners and paper. As a guideline, savings of between 25 and 50% of an organisation’s consumables expenditure are the norm.
